At the end of March we were pleased to host the first Wales mini-conference at the wonderful Taibach Community Library in Port Talbot. CMLs came together for a day of sharing, learning and celebration with presentations from our partners at Digital Inclusion Wales, Welsh Government, The People’s Collection and The Books Council of Wales – as well as presentations from our libraries about their history and development, and hopes for the future.
Following on from a very positive and productive day, we will be continuing to work with the Welsh libraries to collaborate on new projects, networks and funding – looking at practical ways to support the various models of delivery across Wales. ~ Jane Swindall, Regional Network Co-ordinator
