LibraryOn is inviting library services in England to submit an expression of interest that outlines their initial ideas for a funded project.
Please note that at this time, applications can only be made by local authority library services, not individual community library organisations.
However, library services can apply on behalf of one or more community libraries or in conjunction with a wider network of public libraries.

The expression of interest form asks 3 questions about your project proposal. It will be open for 4 weeks and close at 9am on 29 March 2023.

  • upgrading existing websites
  • upgrading other online offers or services
  • piloting something brand new

Grants range from £10,000 to £70,000. They will be offered to applicants across the country, ensuring a balance in those library services benefiting, from small to large, rural to urban, and those with varied levels of digital literacy and activity.

You can find a link to the application portal here from 1 March 2023, along with detailed guidance for applicants.
